Beulah Gene graduated from Erick High School and attended Oklahoma A & M College in Stillwater. She married Jack IVESTER on August 22, 1945 in Erick. They lived in Sayre until 1948 when they moved to Texola. In 1950 Jack entered the Army during the Korean Conflict at which time they lived in Lawton. In 1952 they moved to Erick to make their home. She was a member of the Erick First Baptist Church, the DAR, Erick American legion Auxiliary, associate member of the 3rd Infantry Division, in Ft. Lewis, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant son, John Marion and her brother Marion Averil (Tom BRYANT. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Erick First Baptist Church officated by Ray WEATHERS. Interment will be in the Davis Cemetery, south of Erick under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home. Survivors include: three sisters-in-law, Peggy BRYANT of Wheeler, Texas; Louise COOGAN of Sayre, Eunice IVESTER of Erick; two nieces, Margaret Elaine BARRON of Oveiedo, Florida; Brenda Carole GRISWOLD of Ruckersville, Virginia; two nephews; Thomas Michael BRYANT of Wheeler, Texas; David Alan BRYANT of Plano, Texas; 14 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
