JACKSON, NITON
(9 Jun 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
CITY WOMAN'S FATHER DIES.
R. O. Seeds, who is employed at The Daily News, returned today from
Guthrie, where he attended the funeral yesterday of his father-in-law,
Niton Jackson, 80, who died suddenly from a heart attack.
Mrs. Seeds, daughters Wilma Jean and Miss Eunice, will return to Elk City
later this week, Wallace returned with his father today while Bob, another
son, stopped in Clinton where he is connected with the Daily News.
Mr. Jackson was an old soldier, serving several years in Indian fighting. 
His stories of the Old West and the early pioneer days have infatuated
residents of Guthrie for sometime.
