JANEWAY, LAFAYETTE
(22 Nov 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
JANEWAY RITES NEAR HAMMON.
Funeral services for LaFayette Janeway, 69, were held Friday afternoon at
2 o'clock at the Barker cemetery near Hammon where interment was made.
Mr. Janeway had resided near Hammon with his son, W. D. Janeway, for about
two months.  He came to Hammon from eastern Oklahoma.  He died Thursday at
the Janeway residence nine miles northwest of Hammon.  He was a native of
Oklahoma.
Mr. Janeway is survived by his widow, Mrs. Janeway and four children. 
Besides the son with whom he was living other children surviving are
Walter Janeway of Oilton, Mrs. Pauline Osborne, of Santa Anna, Calif., and
Mark Janeway.
Killough-Hullum, funeral directors, of this city, were in charge of
arrangements.
