JOHNSON, CLARENCE RAY
(7 Jun 1923, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
BABY DIES.
Clarence Ray, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnson, died
Wednesday night, May 30.  He was born May 19th at the home of his
grandmother, Hall, southwest of Elk City in home where his own mother was
born.  He was a fine baby weighing fourteen pounds at birth, and the
parents had great plans for his future.  But he was called to home above,
and the grief stricken parents are left to mourn their darling baby boy.
Funeral services were held Thursday by Rev. DeVore and body interred in
Fairlawn cemetery.  Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
