(8 Dec 1909, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY
Little Helf Johnson, aged 7 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Johnson,
formerly of this city, died of typhoid fever at the home of his parents,
in Amarillo, Texas, Monday, Nov. 29, 1909, at 3 o'clock a.m.  Mr. Johnson
and family moved to Amarillo about a month ago, a happy little circle
around the cheerful fireside of the snowy plains; and it is sad indeed for
such a fate to befall their new home.  The friends of our city deeply
sympathize with the parents and relatives in their sad bereavement.
