JOHNSON, JAMES W.
(14 Feb 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Died in New Mexico.
Telegram received here Monday announcing the death of James W. Johnson,
formally a residence of this community who died at Willard, N. Mex. Feb.
11, at 3:25 a.m.
Mr. Johnson was one of the early settlers in the Sweetwater Valley and
lived there until five years ago when he and his family moved to Willard,
N. Mex.
He has a large number of friends here who will be grieved to hear of his
death.  All who knew him respected him as his was a noble life.
He leaves a wife and two children, Will G. Johnson and Mrs. Frank Banks of
Sweetwater to mourn his loss.
