JESSIE BELL JONES Funeral services for Jessie Bell JONES will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Jssie (Jessie) Bell JONES was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Montgomery, Texas, and died early Thursday at the age of 70. Jessie moved to Elk City as a young girl. She was married to Emanuel JONES on Dec. 13, 1945 and spent most of her adult life in Elk City. Survivors include her husband, Emanuel JONES, of the Elk City home; six children: Freda KEEL, Norma JONES, Robert JONES, Dimitri JONES, Wayne JONES, and Carmeletia BANDY, all of Elk City; one sister, Ruth DEVEREAUX of Elk City, and one brother, Dave DEVEREAUX Jr., of Elk City.
