(8 Sep 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
L. J. Jones died at his home near Carter September 5, age 41 years, 1
month and 5 days.  The services were held at the Church of Christ
Wednesday, September 7, at 3 p.m., Rev. Carman and Rev. Vaughn
officiating.  Burial in Fairlawn Cemetery.  Geo. R. Grubitz & Son in
charge.
