All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* JOSEPH, NELLIE LEE (14 Nov 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. L. B. Joseph. Rev. H. W. Shirley, will preside. Mrs. Joseph died Wednesday, November 13, after a prolonged illness, at her home six miles north of this city. She was born in Harrison county, Missouri, January 24, 1881, where she lived with her parents until 1899, when she married. She and her husband moved to Enid, Oklahoma, where they made their home for two years. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph homesteaded near Doxey and lived there until three years ago when they moved to their present place of residence. Mrs. Joseph was a member of the First Baptist Church here. She leaves of her immediate family, her husband, L. B. Joseph, five sons, Homer, Virgil, Leonard, Earl and Dean Joseph; and three daughters, Mrs. Harrison Donaho, Mrs. Bill Stewart, and Miss Aline Joseph, all of Elk City; her mother, Mrs. Sutton; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Mitchell, and Mrs. Pearl Nickerson, of Bethany, Missouri; and one brother, H. C.
