(1 May 1925, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): MRS. J. O. KEMP DEAD. Mrs. J. O. Kemp died at her home in Rush Springs, Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church of that city, on Sunday afternoon, April 26th. Mrs. Kemp leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, two daughters, Lillian and Henrietta, and two sons, Harold and Horace. The Kemps formerly lived at this place and have a wide acquaintance and a host of friends, who deeply sympathize with them in their bereavement.
