All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* KIMBALL, DELMER CLINTON (11 Nov 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham, Co, OK): Funeral services were held for Delmer Clinton Kimball, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Broadway Methodist church, with the Rev. J. A. Tracy, officiating. Mr. Kimball died Saturday, November 9, after an attack of paralysis at his home, 715 East First street. He was born in Milford Center, Ohio, January 20, 1871, where he lived the early part of his life. He was married to Abba Ageline Warren, January 1, 1889, in Chandler, Okla., where they resided until 1912, when they moved to the Ural community, twelve miles south of Elk City. Mr. Kimball moved with his family to this city in the fall of 1920 and resided here until the time of his death. He was a member of the Broadway Methodist church. Mr. Kimball leaves, of his immediate family, his wife, Mrs. D. C. Kimball, three sons, Warren J. Kimball, Charles Kimball and Elmer Kimball, of Elk City; five daughters, Mrs. L. F. Karlin, Misses Mary, Iva, and Edna Pearl Kimball, of this city; and Mrs. B. D. Keys of Carter, his mother, Mrs. Charles H. Kimball, three brothers, Harry and Wilber Kimball of Medicine Lodge, Kans., and Frank Kimball of Wichita, Kans.; and one sister, Mrs. Alva Lester of ElDorado, Kans. Interment was made at Ural cemetery.
