All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* KING, MAUD (14 Nov 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Maud King, only sister of Mrs. Cora Hunter, died recently at her home in Wichita, Kansas, and the body was brought to her old home at Delhi a week ago Sunday for interment, Rev. Bowles being in charge of the services. Mr. King, who is associated with the Wichita Eagle, was very ill and unable to attend. Beautiful flowers, wreaths, roses and chrysanthemums were on the casket sent by the Eagle force. Mrs. King had been with her sister, Mrs. Hunter at various times here. She was a beautiful woman, loved by all who knew her.
