All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* KINGORE, ROBERT MONROE (1 Nov 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Robert Monroe Kingore died at his home near Foss, Oklahoma, on October 30, 1928, at the age of 68 years, one month and 28 days. Funeral services were held in Canute on October 31. Rev. J. A. Jester of Elk City, conducted the services. Grubitz and Son, funeral directors, had charge of arrangements. (Nov 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Robert M. Kingore died at his home near Canute, October 30. He was born in Illinois, September 6, 1866 (sic), age 68 years, 1 month and 28 days. He was married to Bertha Conrad in 1884 at Bloomington, Ill. To this union two children were born, one dying in infancy. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife and son, Rufus, three grandchildren, three brothers, George of Erie, Kans.; Perry of Chicago; Miller of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Alta Suberb of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Lyda Kingore of Paxton, Ill. Mr. Kingore moved from Iowa to Oklahoma 29 years ago and has lived on his homestead ever since. He was a good neighbor, loved by all who know him and was a believer of Christ and enjoyed attending services, but in later years was deprived of attending as desired. Funeral services were held at Canute church, Thursday, November 1, at two o'clock, Dr. J. A. Jester of Elk City, conducting the services.
