ED (1 May 1913, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Died. Mrs. Ed Kingston at her home on East Third Street, Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday, conducted by Rev. Randall, pastor of the M. E. Church. Burial at the city cemetery. She leaves a husband and four small children. Only a few days ago her baby that lived but a few hours was buried. (8 May 1913, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Rev. E. J. Ewell, formerly pastor of the United Brethren church of this place, was here several days this week in the interest of the orphans home at Davenport, Oklahoma. Mr. Ewell was transferred to Bartelsville from this place but on account of his wife's health he was compelled to give up his work and go to the Pacific coast. Since April first they have been in Davenport. Mrs. Ewell's health having improved. Mr. Ewell has been connected with the Home. While here Mr. Ewell arranged to take W. E.
