KLOPFENSTEIN, SARAH JANE
(15 Dec 1904, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.
Died at her residence 3 miles west and 1 north of Berlin, Sarah Jane
Klopfenstein, born in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa, March 11, 1843,
died Dec. 5, 1904, aged 61 years, 8 months and 4 days; was married to
Peter Klopfenstein Dec. 31, 1861.  She leaves a husband and 4 living
children, namely: Mrs. Ida Creason of Berlin, Walter Klopfenstein of
Berlin, Mrs. Rosa Walker of Sedan, Kans.  She joined the Baptist church
and was a devoted Christian who toiled from morning till night for the
uplifting and comfort of those she loved so well.  Always ready to feed
the weary traveler that came within her gates.
