A. Lewis Mrs. W. A. Lewis was born in Ohio June 22, 1873, died at Weatherford, Oklahoma, May 16, 1929, at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 24 days. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday May 19 at 3 p.m. Rev. J. W. Glance officiating. Interment in Fairlawn cemetery. Gentry-Killough in charge. Mrs. William A. Lewis passed away Thursday morning at 8:00 o'clock at Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 6 days (sic). She was born at Vanvest, Ohio, June 22, 1873. She moved with her parents to Concordia, Kansas, while a child. She was here united in marriage to William A. Lewis, December 3, 1891. She moved with her husband to Oklahoma and located on a farm ten miles west of Elk City where she lived until her death. To this union were born six children, three of whom died in infancy. Mrs. Lewis made her profession of faith in Christ when she was the age of 16 years and joined the Methodist church in Kansas. After moving to their present home she became a member of the Merritt Presbyterian church. She was a loyal and faithful Christian until her death. Those left to mourn her departure are her husband, Mr. William A. Lewis, two sons, of Weatherford, Granville O. Lewis of Clinton, Leroy Lewis of Elk City, one daughter, Mrs. Frances E.
