LONDON, LILLIE
(6 May 1926, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Lillie London was born in Elk City, Okla., September 24, 1912, and died
April 23, 1926, at the age of 13 years, 7 months and 29 days.  She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. London.  She united with the Broadway
Methodist Church October 15, 1922, to which she was a member until her
death.
Lillie was sickly all her life but mentally she was above the average for
her age, in spite of being sick all her little life, she was always
cheerful and patient, until the end.
Funeral services were held April 24, 1926, at the Broadway Methodist
Church, conducted by Dr. J. A. Jester assisted by pastor Rev. E. C. Webb. 
The remains were laid to rest in the West Fairlawn cemetery.
