LOWERY, MARY JANE
(22 Oct 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mother of City Resident Dies Suddenly; Interment To Be Here.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Lowery, 85, mother of L. H. Lowery, of
this city, will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the chapel at
the Grubitz and Son funeral home.  Rev. H. W. Shirley, pastor of the First
Baptist Church, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Lowery died Tuesday in a city hospital.  She has been ill
intermittently for some time.  She suffered an attack Monday after being
in apparently good health the previous evening.
Mrs. Lowery has resided here with her son and Mrs. Lowery for the past six
months.  She formerly lived in California.  Mr. Lowery is the only near
relative surviving his mother, six children and her husband having
preceded her in death.
Interment will be made in the West Fairlawn Cemetery.  Grubitz and Son are
in charge of the arrangements.
