D. Macklin, who passed away at the home of his parents, April 6th, 1925. His death was so sudden, he being ill only four days; and he will be greatly missed by his mother, father, four sisters and four brothers, who survive him, as well as his host of friends; including all of his little school mates. His last words were spoken, concerning his teacher, Louie Carr and his class mates, among whom he was a favorite. It is beyond our understanding that one so young and full of promises should be taken into the great beyond but still we are comforted by the thought that God knows best. The funeral services were conducted by W. Klopfenstein in Century building. He had known Glen from infancy and spoke many comforting words to the bereaved ones. As the casket was being lowered into the grave at Berlin cemetery his teacher and class mates each placed a flower on it. The people of Berlin extend their tenderest sympathy to the bereaved family and may God console their troubled hearts is the wish of neighbors and friends.
