DEATH OF MRS. MALEY
Mrs. Martha Emma Maley, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Frank Hunt.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baptist
Church, conducted by Rev. L. D. Mitchell.  Interment at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Maley was born in Elbert County, Ga., December 27th, 1852, and would
have soon celebrated her 72nd birthday.
We trust a fitting obituary will be furnished us for next issue.

Obituary
Mrs. Martha Maley.
Mrs. Martha Emma Maley was born Dec. 27th, 1852, in Elberton, Ga.  She was
baptized into the Baptist Church at the age of 15 years.  She was married
to Asa C. Maley, Dec. 19th, 18 (part of year missing) and lived in Elbert
County, Georgia twenty-eight years.  They moved to Ardmore, Okla, Dec
1899.  From there the couple moved to Poolville, Oklahoma and thence to
Davis, Okla., where they lived until October, 1917, at which time they
moved to Elk City where they lived until her death.  She was a member of
the Baptist Church of Elk City, and lived a beautiful Christian life.
She died December 18th, 1924 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Hunt.
 A very large crowd of friends attended her funeral which was held at the
Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mitchell.  There were a great many
beautiful floral offerings.  Interment made in Fairlawn cemetery.
