MATTHEWS, HOWARD A.
(23 Oct 1924, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
H. A. Matthews, a pioneer citizen of Sayre, died Thursday night at his
home in west Sayre and was buried Saturday afternoon in the Doxey-Sayre
cemetery.  Mr. Matthews has been ill for several weeks, having been in the
hospital at Elk City until a few days ago, he was brought home.  He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. H. A. Matthews, and a number of other
relatives.
