MAXEY CARL FREDERICK
(16 Jan 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF C. F. MAXEY
Carl Frederick Maxey died at his home, five miles south of Elk City on
Tuesday morning, of pneumonia.  The body was taken to Yukon, yesterday for
burial accompanied by his sister Mrs. Addington, of that place and Mrs.
Maxey.
Mr. Maxey was a son of T. J. Maxey, and has lived here since the early
day.  He and his brothers were formerly in business in Elk City.  He was
forty-two years of age.
The many friends of the deceased regret to learn of the passing away of
this well-known citizen, and his loss will be greatly felt in this
community.  To the sorrowing ones the sympathy of our people is extended.
