Michael Vaught officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Mary Pauline McAdams was born May 29, 1917 at Gans, Oklahoma to Robert and Ida Torbett Corder and passed away Friday, February 15, 2002 at the age of 84. She came to western Oklahoma with her family and graduated from Canute High School. She was married to Finis M. McAdams on December 23, 1937 at Cordell. They established their first home on a farm north of Clinton Lake and then in 1943 moved to a farm north of Elk City where she has lived since. Mrs. McAdams worked at C.R. Anthonys for many years, also the sale barn as a bookkeeper and the Red River Transportation. She had just been baptized in the Catholic Faith. She wads preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers. Survivors include two sons, Minard McAdams and his wife Joan of Foss, Lynn McAdams and his wife Sina of Elk City; two sisters, Bess Hollis and Jewel Schones and her husband Louis all of Elk City; two grandchildren, Jeff McAdams of Foss, Kelli Miller and her husband Joe of Elk City; three great grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden and Baylee Miller of Elk City and special friend of Jeff's, Sherri Garrison and her children Rikki and Marc.
