MC ALLISTER, GEORGE B.
(25 Jan 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Geo. B. McAllister, 71 years old, died Saturday at noon in the Clinton
hospital following an operation for gall stones which was performed two
days before.  The funeral service was held at Page church, Monday at 11:30
and was conducted by Rev. R. I. Graham.  Burial was in Page cemetery
(Washita county).
Mr. McAllister had resided 7 miles south of Foss for many years and had
been a member of the Page (Methodist) church for 20 years.  He was a
native of Georgia and before coming to Oklahoma had lived in Texas and
Missouri.  December 14, 1851, was the date of his birth.
Surviving the deceased are a widow, five daughters and five sons.
