All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* MC CLOUD, JOHN FRANKLIN (12 Dec 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): JOHN FRANKLIN McCLOUD John Franklin Mc Cloud, son of Oscar and Maria McCloud was born 7 miles west of Weatherford January 13th, 1904, died November 29th, 1918, at his home north of Elk City. Besides parents, he leaves one brother, Charley, of Oklahoma City, and five sisters, Mrs. Emma Baxter, Mrs. John Baxter, Mrs. Fred Weatherly, Mrs. Frank Clark and one single sister, Gertie, at home. Frank has been a great sufferer for the past two years, suffering from diabetes, but when the end came he passed away very peacefully. John was a bright, manly boy, obedient and thoughtful of all. He was a favorite with all and will be missed by young and old. Funeral services were held at the Grandview cemetery conducted by A. Mansur and song service by F. L. Martin.
