MC COMAS, JOHN W.
(11 Mar 1915, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  John W. McComas, 84 years of age, born in Virginia, died at the
residence of his son, O. H. McComas, February 28, 1915.
The deceased was a positive character, lived an honorable and upright life
and died in the hope of a blessed immortality.  The body was shipped to
Concordia, Kansas, for burial.
(2 Oct 1913, Thursday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
John W. McComas of Concordia, Kansas, an old man 84 years of age came in
Tuesday to visit his brothers, Dr. J. M. McComas of Elk City and O. H.
McComas.  This is the first time the doctor has met his brother for more
than fifty years.
