(28 Sep 1916, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MRS. M. McGOWAN
Mrs. M. McGowan, who lived on the east side, died September 22nd, after a
short illness.  Funeral services were held at the home that evening by
Rev. Boyce, officiating.
Mrs. McGowan leaves a husband and one child two years old.  She was 18
years, 8 months and 22 days old.  The remains were laid to rest in the
Fairview Cemetery.
