(Mar 1917, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
LITTLE DORIS McDANIELS DIES
Doris, the little two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. McDaniels,
died March 10th.  She had been sick for some time with pneumonia,
complications setting up that caused her death.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Monday afternoon, Rev.
Stogner officiating, many friends being in attendance.  The interment was
made at the Fairlawn cemetery with Grubitz & Son, undertakers in charge. 
The body was laid to rest by the side of another little child of Mr. and
Mrs. McDaniel, who died two years ago and was about the same age as little
Doris.
The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow.
