MC FARLAND, EDWARD STEPHENS
(21 Sep 1916, Elk City Leader & Southwest News, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. McFarland died Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Miller. 
Funeral services were held at Hammon.  He was buried there.
Grandpa McFarland of Canute Died Sunday.
Grandpa McFarland, a well known resident of this section, died Sunday
night at 10 o'clock at the family residence one mile south of Canute, at
an advanced age.  The remains were laid to rest at Hammon (Roger Mills
County) on Monday afternoon, the funeral arrangements being in charge of
Chandler & Robinson.
