MELVIN, MOLLIE A.
(12 Dec 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. ED MELVIN DEAD
Mrs. Ed Melvin died Sunday morning at her home near Hefner church. 
Funeral services were held at the Ural cemetery on Monday afternoon when a
large crowd was in attendance, showing the respect in which the deceased
lady was held by all.  She was a consecrated Christian woman and a member
of the Nazarene church.
Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blakemore and a sister of
Mrs. Fred Rayfield.  She was a niece of Congressman Joe Thompson.
A husband and five children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife
and mother.  In their great sorrow and affliction my the Comforter be very
near to them.
