MERRILL, IRIS IMOGENE
(16 Feb 1905, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
One of John Merrell's twin babies died Sunday morning and was laid to rest
in Elk City cemetery Monday.  We extend our sympathy to the bereaved
parents and loved ones.  She has gone before beckening loved ones to
follow on.
(1 Jun 1905, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John Merl (sic) was found dead in its bed
Wednesday morning.  No apparent reason is given for its sudden demise.
(8 Jun 1905, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.  Iris Imogene, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Merrill, was
born in Elk City, January 14th, 1905.  Her twin sister, Inez, died
February 12th.  Little Iris was always delicate, but seemed in better
health a few hours before she was called away on the morning of May 31.
