MILLER, MARY ERMINE
(30 Dec 1908, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  A gloom was cast over the Bella Vista neighborhood and the many
friends of T. J. Miller and family of this city when the sad news reached
them that Mrs. Miller had dropped dead on Saturday at twelve o'clock.
Mary Ermine Barnes was born in Jefferson county, Kansas, September 5,
1861, was baptized at the age of 15 years and united with the Christian
Church and has lived a devoted christian life.
(31 Dec 1908, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Died suddenly - Mrs. Mary Miller, wife of T. J. Miller, a well known
farmer, living four and one half miles northwest of town, dropped dead
Saturday about noon with heart failure.
Mrs. Miller had been in the best of health and spirits up to the moment of
her death and the end came suddenly and without the slightest premonition.
 She was busily engaged in the performances of her usual household duties
when the summons came.
She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Miller was well known throughout the community in which she lived and
was loved by all with whom she came in contact.
The funeral occurred at one o'clock Monday.
