(22 Jan 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): DEATH OF MRS. PLEAS MILLER Mrs. Pleas Miller died last evening at her home on West Broadway after an illness of many months from Bright's disease. She leaves three small children. Mr. Miller is one of the rural route carriers from Elk City postoffice. At this writing no arrangements have been made for funeral, as they are waiting to hear from relatives. (30 Jan 1920, Friday, Elk City Press, Elk City Beckham Co, OK): DIED. Mrs. Niece A. Miller, wife of P. H. Miller, died here Wednesday, Jan. 21. She was thirty-seven years of age and a native of Tennessee. Rev. Bowles officiated at the funeral at Fairlawn cemetery last Saturday, Jan. 24. Besides the husband and several small children, Mrs. Miller left many near friends and relatives to mourn her death. She had suffered for a long time with brights disease, and it was only her Father in heaven who could help her. Mr. Miller has been in the rural mail service for a long time and is well known.
