(31 Mar 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MILLER.
Mrs. Lila Miller, nee Lila Wells, of Wichita Falls, Texas, departed this
life Sunday, March 27, 1927, after an operation for appendicitis.  The
operation was made too late as the appendix had burst, yet she seemed to
be doing nicely when the lungs abscessed, causing death.
She was a loving wife and loved and appreciated by the many friends who
knew her so well.  She leaves to mourn her loss the husband, father and
mother and four brothers.  She had no children.
