MILSTEAD, MARY ETHEL
(25 Mar 1926, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mary Ethel Smallwood was born in Hardin, Mo., March 5th, 1883, and died
March 21, 1926 at Elk City, Okla.
She came to Oklahoma with her father, Dr. P. C. Smallwood in 1898.  She
was married to Edgar D. Milstead on Feb. 11, 1903.  Two children Bernice
and Paul, both living, came to bless this union.  Her husband died July
3rd, 1905 (sic).
On November 10, 1910, she was married to Terry Wall, who with the two
children, her mother, two brothers, one sister and numerous relatives and
friends are today mourning her loss.
As daughter, wife, mother, friends in every human relation she also was
faithful and true as those of you who know her best can testify.  As she
was faithful to her convictions of right and duty so shall be her reward. 
(Note:  Buried beside Edgar D. Milstead, Canute Cemetery, Washita County,
Ok).
