MORRIS, MILTON JR.
(1 Feb 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Roger Mills County News column:
"The sorrows of others throws a shadow over me."  Especially when one of
my former pupils is made to mourn, as did Ezra Morris and wife, who lost
their little son, called Milton Jr. Saturday morning.  An older child had
been suffering with flu and the little one that had always been so robust
and healthy was not considered seriously ill till diphtheria developed,
although nothing, skill and love could do was left undone.  The little man
passed away at 6:00 o'clock Saturday morning and was laid to rest that
afternoon.  Milton Jr. was 1 year and 22 days old and left to mourn his
loss his parents and brothers, sisters and a host of other near relatives.
