MORRIS, MOLLIE N.
(21 Feb 1907, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Mollie N. Morris, wife of
Sylvester M. Morris, of Carpenter, who died last Friday of pneumonia.
Mrs. Morris was born in Tennessee thirty-one years ago.  When she was yet
a girl her parents moved to Grayson county, Texas, where she was married
to Mr. Sylvester M. Morris.  To this union five children were born.
Eight years ago Mr. and Mrs. Morris came to Oklahoma and settled on a farm
near Carpenter. In this surrounding community their friends are numerous
with their acquaintances.
At the time of her death Mrs. Morris was a member of the Christian church.
 She was a devoted wife and a kind loving mother.
Mrs. Morris was a member of the Union Home Fraternal Association of
Oklahoma in which fraternaily (sic) she carried life insurance.  Mrs.
Morris died on the 15th and on the 18th J. E. Delaney, Secretary of the
Union Home Fraternal Association delivered the husband of the deceased a
check on the State Exchange Bank of Elk City for payment in full on the
face of her policy.
