   J. H. MURPHY
   
   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for J. H. MURPHY,
   resident of the Merritt community for the past 11 years, who died
   Monday afternoon following a heart attack. Burial was in the Belleview
   cemetery with Rev. S. P. AUSTIN, pastor of the First Christian church
   of Sayre, officiating.
   
   As far was was known in the community, he had no relatives surviving.
   He had resided in a small shack on a one-acre plot in the Merritt
   community and little was known of his past life.
   
   Note: Date of death June 1,1936
