(30 Aug 1911, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of David Music
David Music an old and highly respected citizen who has lived on Sandstone
for the past nine years, died at his home northwest of town Sunday morning
at 7:30 after a lingering illness of several weeks duration, age 77 years,
3 months and 23 days.
Mr. Music came to Roger Mills Co. from Indian Territory and has lived on
the farm where he died, ever since.
He leaves a wife and six children, two daughters, Mrs. Mollie Learred of
Baxtor Springs, Mo., and Mrs. Emmett Crouch of Sabinal, Texas, four sons
who live at or near home, Austin, Owen, Omer and Otto.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cordell of Grimes, burial at the
Berlin cemetery (Roger Mills county).
