On December 7, 1889, William T. Music was born in Kentucky. While a young man he came to Oklahoma where he taught school for a few years. He was a favorite with the young people and also well liked by the older people. He was united in marriage to Miss Sallie Music. To this union were born four children, Glen, Reta, Murel and Billie, who with their mother, will miss his loving care and protection. Mr. Music was a good citizen, very active and wide awake to the needs of his community, and especially his Sunday school, where he was seldom absent. His friends were many and he is greatly missed, but we have consolation of knowing he is in a better world, for his last testimony was that all was well with him. May God bless and comfort the wife and children, and his aged father, one brother, two sisters, and a host of other relatives who are left to mourn his departure. Mr. Music died the 26th of January at his home, after an illness of four weeks. He was buried at Ural cemetery to await the Great Resurrection morn. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
