MUSICK, DOVE LOVELLA
(13 Dec 1911, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Dove Lovella Music (sic), the four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A.
Music died Dec. 7, 1911.  She was the pet of the family and will be
greatly missed by all.  The neighbors showed a kindly spirit in the hour
of sorrow, and by making the long journey to the cemetery.  Interment was
made in the Berlin cemetery (Roger Mills County).  The funeral service was
conducted by Rev. J. L. Burket, pastor of the United Brethren Church of
Elk City.

Of Dovie Lovella Musick
Lovella has gone from among us to live in her beautiful home;
Her dear little feet forever among fruits and flowers will roam.
We shall miss her sweet singing; miss the patter of little feet;
But some day in that fair land, we shall once more our darling meet.
God gave her to us, for a little while our home to make glad,
And without our darling, we feel lonely, O so sad;
But, God knows best - the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away -
And he has given us the promise that through him we will meet her some
glad day.
