MYERS, MARY
(10 Sep 1925, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. MARY MAYER (sic)
Mrs. Mary Mayer, mother of Mrs. Dr. Steel of Berlin, died last Tuesday at
the age of 83 years.
Funeral services will be at the Catholic Church, Friday in Elk City.

Grandma Myers, mother of Mrs. Dr. Steele, died September 8th, and burial
was made in the Elk City cemetery.  Mrs. Myers has been a resident of the
Berlin community for the past six years and her illness dates back four
years.  She was well and favorably known and leaves many friends to mourn
her passing.  Those of the relatives who came for the funeral were:  Tom
Steele, a grandson of Clayton, New Mexico, and his little daughter, Ruth;
and granddaughter, Mrs. Camilla Bader and little son Joe of Boise City,
Oklahoma.  The sympathy of all goes out to Mrs. Steele and other relatives
in their bereavement.
(15 Oct 1925, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): (Too late for last
week):
Grandma Myers, mother of Mrs. Dr. Steele, passed away at 2 a.m., Thursday,
9-8-25, at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Steele, where she had made her home. 
She had been in ill health a number of years and had suffered a great
deal.  Mrs. Steele is the only child, she has 8 grandchildren.  Her
grandson of Clayton, N.M., Rev. Tom Steele and little daughter, Ruth. 
Also her grand daughter Mrs. Tom Bader and little son Joe of Boise City
were present for the funeral.  She was buried in the Catholic cemetery at
Elk City, 9-11-25.
Besides the relatives she leaves a host of friends and neighbors to mourn
her loss.
