(21 Jun 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Roger Mills News:
A telephone message to Mrs. C. C. Shaller of old Redmoon, bearing the sad
news that her father, Dr. M. W. (sic) Newman, of Canadian, Texas, died in
his chair in his office Friday, June 8th.  Dr. Newman was one who brought
with him to the Panhandle the culture of the east.  An obituary will be
sent next week.
