NORWOOD, WILLIAM MONROE
(19 May 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
WM. MONROE NORWOOD
Wm. Monroe Norwood was born January 18, 1900; died May 18, 1927, aged 27
years, 4 months.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 19, Rev. Spurgeon S.
Elliott officiating.  Interment at Fairlawn cemetery.  Grubitz & Son in
charge.
Obituary will be published in next week's paper.
(26 May 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
William Monroe Norwood, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Norwood, was born
at Davis, Oklahoma, January 18, 1900.  Died in Elk City May 18, 1927, aged
27 years and 4 months.  His mother died several years ago, and William has
made his home with his aunt, Mrs. Frank Hunt, since he was eleven years
old.
During the Ham-Ramsey revival here several years ago, Billie was converted.
He leaves to mourn his going a wife, May Norwood, a father, J. L. Norwood
of Ardmore, Okla., a brother, Joseph or George Norwood, two sisters, Mrs.
Porter Jacobs and Mrs. Merrill Johnson, and a host of relatives and
friends.
