(28 Feb 1924, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): DEATH OF BROTHER Mrs. Mattie Pike returned last week from Cache, Okla., where she attended the funeral services of her brother, E. B. Nottingham, who was taken sick February 3rd, underwent operation on the 10th in Wesley Hospital, where he received the best of care but he passed away Sunday night, February 17th, aged 46 years, 5 months and 12 days. His remains were shipped to Cache for burial. He had lived in Cache for 23 years, and all who knew him loved him. He was a faithful christian, attending Sunday School and church every Sunday, and was devoted to his home and family. The funeral services were held in the M. E. Church and the church and yard was crowded with friends. The I.O.O.F. and Rebekahs attended in a body.
