OVERFIELD, DORIS FERN
(20 Mar 1924, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
BABY DIED.
The little two and a-half year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Overfield 
died last night from complications following the measles.

OUR BABY
Little Doris Fern Overfield was born Sept. 22, 1921, died March 20, 
1924, age 2 1/2 years.  Little Doris was taken ill with measles 
followed by pneumonia and other complications which was more than 
the little one could overcome.   
Funeral services which were held at the house was conducted by Rev. 
Adams.  She was laid to rest in the West Fairlawn cemetery.
She leaves to mourn her loss a mother, father, five brothers and an 
aged grandfather and other relatives and a host of friends.
