(19 Dec 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): ATTENDED BROTHER'S FUNERAL IN NEW MEXICO Lee Parker returned Monday from Fort Sumner, New Mexico, where he had been called by the death of his brother, W. H. Parker. He said every respect was given in honor of his brother, business houses were closed, and many beautiful flowers were sent. W. H. Parker had been postmaster of that place, also county clerk, and was well-known by everyone. He was thirty-eight years of age. (New Mexico Death Index: 1899-1940: DeBaca County: William H.
