W. A. PECK PASSES TODAY Funeral Services will be held Saturday Afternoon at Church of God. Funeral services for Mrs. William A. Peck, 32, of this city, who died early Friday morning, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Church of God, according to an announcement made Friday from the Grubitz and Son funeral parlors. Rev. C. S. Moad, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Mrs. Peck had been ill about a week with throat infection. She was taken to a city hospital for treatment where her condition was pronounced as grave. Mrs. Peck was born July 21, 1898, near Bessie. She was reared in that community, attending the schools in that place. She was active in church work and was known in church circles in surrounding communities. She was married to Mr. Peck on Feb. 23, 1918 and moved here sometime later. One child of Mrs. Peck was buried here in 1926. Three other daughters are living. They are: Misses Leona May, Fern Lucille and Betty June. Other than her husband and the three daughters, Mrs. Peck is survived by a sister and five brothers. They are: Mrs. Anna Harper, of Cordell, and Ernest, Rufus, Arthur, Joe and Olen Corbin, all of near Canute. Mrs. Peck's parents are not living. All of the brothers and sisters will be at the services here Saturday, they have informed.
