John Peeler was born September 29, 1877, and died at a local Hospital at Elk City, April 6, 1925. Mr. Peeler was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Sam McNeil of this city. Obituary will be printed in Tuesday's issue. CARD OF THANKS We wish to extend our sincerest thanks to our dear friends, the doctors and nurses, who were so kind to us during the illness and death of our loved husband, father and brother. We also wish to thank our friends for the beautiful floral offerings. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Peeler and children Mr. and Mrs. Sam McNeal (sic) and daughter. (17 Apr 1925, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): PEELER John Peeler was born near Memphis, Tenn., September 29, 1877, and died in Elk City, Okla., at a local hospital on April 6, 1925; aged 48 years, 6 months and 7 days. On May 9, 1920, he was married and to this union was born three children; Glen, three years old, and twins, Helen and Hershall, 17 months old. His present home was at Berlin. Mr. Peeler was only ill a short while, being taken to the hospital only a little more than a week when he died, however he had been suffering from brights disease for some time. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife and three children, besides a step daughter, Hazel, 10 years old, one brother, Frank Peeler of Cash, Ark., and two sisters of East Perry, Mo.
