PENROSE, ROBERT EUGENE
(11 Oct 1905, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Robert Eugene, son of Robert and Elizabeth Penrose of Indian Creek, died
of Scarlet fever, Saturday, Oct. 7th inst., aged 10 years, 4 months and 5
days.  He was burried (sic) at Doxey, Sunday evening.  Rev. J. A.
Crutchfield of Chicago, Ill., preached the funeral sermon to a large
congregation.  He was a fine boy and his death is a great bereavement to
the family.
(12 Oct 1905, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Robert Eugene, son of Robert and Elizabeth Penrose of Merritt, died last
Saturday of scarlet fever and was burried (sic) Sunday at Doxey.  Rev.
Crutchfield of Chicago, brother of the Methodist pastor of this city,
preached the funeral sermon.
